The best way to enter is online here. Entering online also saves us money on printing and data entry, which means more support for people with MS.
Alternatively you can download an entry form here, or give us a call and request an entry form to be sent out, and send it back to us by email, post or fax.

2. How can I enter if I want to pay by cash, cheque or money order?

3. When will entries close?
Online registrations will close on Thursday 13th October 2011, 5pm.

4. Can I still register on the day?
Yes, you can still register on the day. We will accept registrations on the day up to 5.45pm on Friday 14 October 2011.
Please note: On the day registration fees will be more expensive (due to the administrative/processing costs required on the day).

On the day fees are as follows:

5. What do I receive for my entry fee?
- Official MS Moonlight Walk lantern
- Mapped out course with safety officers and base stations
- Bases with water, toilets, first aid
- Live entertainment and food stalls
- Dedicated volunteers who can assist you on the day
6. When will I receive my walker pack?
We will be sending walker packs to our participants via email.
In this email, you will receive information about the day, the course map and your official MS Moonlight Walk participation voucher. Please print this voucher off as proof of event identification and collect your official MS Moonlight Walk lantern on the day.
7. How can I purchase merchandise?
If you would like to purchase this year's MS Moonlight Walk Tshirt, click here to download the merchandise order form.
You will need to pick up your merchandise on the day. However, if you would like to collect your merchandise prior to the day, please notify us on 07 3840 0828 or

8. Can I order merchandise on the day?
Yes, you can purchase merchandise on the day. There will be a merchandise tent where you will be able to purchase the official MS Moonlight Walk t-shirts.

9. I want to fundraise, but I don't know how or where to start. Where can I get more information?

10. What happens if someone donates to me with cash?
If you have a receipt book, you can write them a tax deductible receipt on the spot!
If you don’t have a receipt book, all you have to do is contact us on 07 3840 0828 or

to request one. We will post you a receipt book along with your own fundraising ID card.
You can also put up your offline donations on your own fundraising webpage to show people how much you have been fundraising. Simply log in to your account, go to my sponsors, add offline and fill in the details. If you have any problems with this, please contact us on 07 3840 0828 and we awould be more than happy to help.
11. How do I get my offline donations to MS Australia - QLD?
Collecting donations via receipt books is a great way to personally communicate your goal (and appreciation) to your sponsors face to face. If someone sponsors you for the walk, you can write them a tax deductible receipt on the spot!
There are a number of ways you can get your offline money to MS Australia - QLD:

12. Does it cost extra to enter a team?
No, it does not cost any extra to enter a team. Simply register yourself and round up your friends, family or colleagues and create a team! The more the merrier!

13. Can I request a refund?
Unfortunately entry fees are non-refundable and not transferable to others.
14. What happens if it’s raining?
Over the 10km course it can rain in one section and be fine and sunny in another. Participants should be prepared for all weather. The event goes ahead rain or shine, unless there is a significant danger to participants because of poor visibility, lightning, storms or strong winds. If this occurs, a notification will be posted on our website, an email sent to your email address and an SMS sent to your mobile.
15. What happens if I can’t get to the start line at 6.00pm?
No worries! The walk has staggered starts until just after 6.15pm. If you don't think you could manage the whole 10kms, there is always the 5km Mini-Moonlight Walk itinerary to suit you or your team.
16. Does it get very crowded?
Even though there are over 1,300 walkers on the course, it only gets crowded along a few short sections of the course and will soon spread over the route.
17. How safe is it?
We do everything possible to make the course safe. If you follow basic road safety rules, drink plenty of fluids and follow instructions from route marshals, you'll have a safe and enjoyable walk.
18. Where can I leave my belongings?
There will be a luggage tent for a small donation of $3. Please ensure that clothing is wrapped in sealed plastic bags for weather protection and is clearly labeled. You will be provided with a ticket that corresponds with your bag. Please keep this in a safe place. All care will be taken but we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
